What is Guitar Band?
Guitar Band is an opportunity for beginning and intermediate guitar students to make music with other
students in a small group environment.
The size of the groups will vary between three and six students plus the instructor and will meet for a one hour session at Coffey Music. The cost of the one hour class is $20.00.
The
Guitar Band sessions will be offered approximately every four to six weeks with a new invitation offered for each upcoming session. In other words, this is not a regularly scheduled event that requires your commitment.
What skills are covered?
- Ensemble playing (playing music with three and four parts)
- Musicianship skills: listening, counting, expressive interpretation
- Band rehearsal techniques
- Rhythm guitar
- Lead guitar
- Beginning improvisation
- Band rehearsal techniques
How do I register for the next session?
If you are interested and would like to attend the next session, please email me at lessons@scottzimmermanguitar.com. I will contact you to confirm your reservation.
When do I pay for the class?
You may bring in payment prior to the date of the class or the day of the class.
Once you have committed to the class there will be a charge for that spot whether it is used or not.
